Confirmation Retreat

5th and 6th classes spent a lovely day last Wednesday on a confirmation retreat in Ballintubber Abbey. It was a very spiritual day preparing them to make their confirmation on the 7th of April. The children learned about Ballintubber Abbey, built in 1216, and spent their day in a room that was once used as the Augustinian monks dormitory. The children really enjoyed the experience.
